This humble paper aims to serve scholars, theoretically and in practice, who tend towards interest in heritage in general, and in the manuscript in particular, as our aim is from it; to place in the hands of the researcher a theoretical key, on which he leans, in investigating the correctness of the manuscript's title, and verifying its identity.

in many cases, the investigator, especially the novice, whom we are targeting in this work collides with the title problem, which is one of the main dilemmas of indexing the Arabic manuscript.

specialists in this field, which is the correctness of the title, before publishing the work and bringing it to light, and from it we stand before the limits of the founding question: what are the mechanisms of accuracy of the written title? what are its cognitive tributaries?.
