Abstract EN

This research entitled "The Character in Bodchicha's Theater: The Play of "The Thief" as a Model" seeks to investigate the creative practice that stems from the human experience and its contradictions.

As the theatrical work being proactive in monitoring the various experiences of those experiences, and dealing with them from a broader perspective, the theater can convey reality in a different way, so that a person finds in it dreams and aspirations that were not fulfilled.

Hence, this study came with the aim of highlighting theatrical criticism in general and Boudchicha's theater in particular, and to highlight the rich literary career of the writer "Ahmed Boudchicha", who created the greatest works of fiction, as well as in the field of story and theatrical texts.

The latter is considered the research problematic, as it will deal with a model of the playwright's texts – “The Thief” play, drawing from it and studying the most important features and aspects of the characters in his theatrical text.
