دراسة قياسية لأثر تكنولوجيا المعلومات و الاتصالات على النمو الاقتصادي في الدول العربية خلال الفترة 2004-2018

Abstract EN

This study aimed to try to highlight the impact of information and communication technology on the economic growth of Arab countries, using a standard study on a sample of 15 Arab countries during the period 2004-2018.

Based on the analysis of the Panel models, it was concluded that the fixed effects model is the appropriate model for the study, and a positive significant relationship between the mobile phone index and economic growth and a negative non-significant relationship between the Internet index and economic growth, the results of the study also showed that information and communication technology contribute to increase economic growth in the Arab countries studied in the short term only.
