Islamic banking in Algeria still faces some challenges despite the issuance of Law 20-02 of March 15, 2020 related to Islamic banking, which requires activating its digitization and awareness of its importance, establishing a national committee to monitor it, unifying legal fatwas for it, training experts in the field, and promoting the establishment of bank branches Islamic banking, as the Islamic banking business in Algeria is based on a group of Islamic branches and financial institutions, on top of which is the Algerian Al Baraka Bank, which provides a combination of financial products to institutions, professionals and individuals, by adopting various formulas as: Leasing, ordering to make, and Sharing.
