Our Arabic language is the title of our identity and is the link between the speakers of the opposite and is the most important links of the past to the present and the future, and if the Arabic language is of great importance in the life of our Arab nation and has a lofty status in our glorious past and our present, the interest in learning and education must be commensurate with that importance.

Science and learning is the most important means of communication between the teacher and the learner.

In addressing this communicative relationship between the teacher and the learner, attention should be given to the four language skills, expression, listening, reading and writing.

This study aims to identify the effect of listening skill on developing the skill of reading according to second generation curricula of third year primary school students.
