The study aims to reveal the role of environmental culture of the inhabitants of El Madher town in protecting the environment from pollution, and it is limited to the solid waste, which is a dangerous phenomenon for societies and the issue of concern for the environment and maintaining its safety from pollution is a necessity that preoccupies members of society at all levels.

The issue of environmental pollution is considered a societal matter that requires cooperation and solidarity in order to reduce it through measures that achieve the desired effect.

The study adopted the descriptive-analytical approach that fits the organized description of the phenomenon and the detection of the required facts, leading to the analysis using the various tools consisting in observation which is one of the most important methodological tools used by the researcher to collect field information, and also adopted a questionnaire, which are the two appropriate tools for collecting field data.
