This study deals with the role played by the Mozabites in the various positions of the political and national struggle in Algeria during the colonial period, including those related to the electoral question for the establishment of the Algerian Council in 1948, where the French administration has worked to organize the elections at the level of the two bodies in the three prefectures, as well as the southern regions.

From there, the features of the study that we have entitled "the elections of the Algerian Assembly of 1948, in the region of Ghardaia - through archival documents -" become clearer, which is of importance.
