Abstract EN

Any new democracy experience faces a number of challenges, among which are the challenges related to controlling the flow of electoral money, which in turn constitutes a number of problems that lead to undermining democracy, through the exploitation of public money, and may be a door to foreign intervention, and since the relationship between Money and politics are close and complex, it is likely that electoral money will play a pivotal role in the results of the electoral process, as the availability of material resources helps political entities and candidates to cover their electoral campaigns in a way that helps them reach the Tunisian Legislative Council, and to find out the issue in all its aspects, this study was divided On three main axes, the first axis includes the definition of the relevant terminology, while the second axis includes the definition of the electoral campaign and its sources of financing in Tunisia, to come after the third and final axis to include the definition of the aspects and mechanisms of control over this campaign and its sources of financing to reduce the problems in it and about it.

The study reached a number of results that can be summarized as follows: 1- Multiple sources of funding for the electoral campaign, some of which were public and some of which were private.2- The multiplicity of the authorities concerned with controlling these sources.3- The increasing number of problems and the danger that accompany the process of financing the entities running for the Assembly of the Representatives of the People.

These problems are based on two main axes: 1- The first is regulatory, which is related to the shortcomings of the legal rules regulating the electoral campaign financing process, as they must be reconsidered, whether these rules relate to public (public) funding or to private funding sources, and the oversight process must be more integrated and involve them.

Even the security and intelligence agencies.2- The second is political.

In fact, the political entities running in the elections need educational courses in order to advance their electoral and political work, in order to have a vision and a will to advance their political and knowledge potential.
