المراسلات التاريخية بين الأمير عبد العزيز السديري و الفريق جون كلوب (1357-1374 ه 1938- 1955م)‎

Abstract EN

This study deals with the historical correspondences between Prince Abdulaziz Al-Sudairy and Lieutenant General John Clubb in regard to topics related to border issues between the the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, as well as various economic and social issues during the period from (1357-1374 AH) corresponding to (1938- 1955 AD).

The study includes a preface of the historical period covered in the study, an overview of the two parties of these historical correspondences namely Prince Abdulaziz Al-Sudairi and Lieutenant-General John Club, and then a discussion of the issues addressed in these correspondences, namely border, system of rights, trade, zakat, agriculture, grazing and the issue of Palestine.

The study revealed that the bilateral meetings between Prince Abdulaziz Al-Sudairy and General John Club contributed to coming up with realistic solutions to many unresolved issues between the two kingdoms.
