This research paper deals with the negative effects of cultural globalization on the reality of Algerian youth, through an analysis of the reasons for the loss of a sense of national belonging and the low values of citizenship and national belonging.

the growth of modern liberal ideas and dependence on western capitalist forces that are hidden under the manifestations of cultural globalization, have serious repercussions on the national identity of most individuals in developing countries.

today, the Algerian youth category, as the largest segment of society, suffers from the dangers of cultural invasion and dependence on the west, which has lost its national privacy and robbed it of its personal identity.

from a change in its values, a deviation in its national identity, and a drift towards western behavioral patterns alien to its societies, to be marginalized for its civilizational and cultural gains such as language, religion, customs, history.
