But after the national idea was a major role in the history of the Ottoman Empire in the modern era, since the Ottoman Empire had gathered under its banner nationalities, religions, and multiple sects that lived for seven centuries under it, under one state and one name is the Ottoman component, and the national idea contributed to the fragmentation of this great entity after What this idea was planted in the minds and hearts of the people of the state in different directions, morals and actions, and was exploited by the enemies and succeeded in tearing it and its unity The study was divided into four sections, the introduction and the conclusion of the topic summary.

The first topic focused on the rise of nationalism and its establishment in Europe, and the second topic discussed the historical roots of nationalism entering the Ottoman Empire, and the third topic discussed the sources of the emergence of nationalist ideas in the Ottoman Empire.
