The aim of the research is to identify the effectiveness of a program based on the use of pentagram in the teaching of social studies to develop the skills of managing historical knowledge and the dimensions of historical inference among pupils of the second episode of basic education for the academic year 2020/2021and the research sample consisted of( 40)pupils of the first grade preparatory school were divided To two groups ,one experimental (20) schoolgirls and the other an officer(20) schoolgirls ,the research tools were applied , which consisted of testing the skills of historical knowledge management ,and testing the dimensions of historical inference on the control and experimental groups before and after ,and the results of the research showed the presence of a statistically d difference at the level)0,01( Between the average grades of the control and experimental group in the remote application of the skills tests of historical knowledge management ,and the dimensions of historical inference in favor of the experimental group, The results also showed a high effectiveness rate for teaching the history course to first-grade preparatory students using the pentagram strategy in the development of historical knowledge management skills and their historical inference dimensions ,and the research ended with a set of recommendations ,the most important of which is the need to develop the history curriculum ,the methods of teaching and learning it in the first grade preparatory in the light of the dimensions of inference ,and to hold training courses for teachers while serving on modern methods and strategies ,the most important of which is the strategy of pentagram .
