Most countries of the world have made great progress in stimulating sustainable growth and reducing the social inequalities, which has led to expanding access to income and social services .However, the levels of inequalities are still high, which makes reducing them an essential goal for development programs and governments in all countries of the world.

This research paper aims to study the most important economic and social policies aimed at reducing social inequality, with reference to the most important successful experiences in the field of reducing social inequality.

The results of the study indicate the ability of all countries, whether low and middle-income countries or high-income countries, to reduce inequalities through the implementation of a correct combination of successful macroeconomic policies.Promoting the performance of labor markets, ensuring the minimum level of social protection, and empowering the poor are the most important policies that contribute to reducing the inequality between and within countries
