A wide rang of the Arab woman have reshaped their relations with themselves and with the other through their uses of digital media in the virtual public sphere, Which is a structural extension of the data of the real social world.

The Arab woman was able to create a clear presence after being associated more with private and home spaces.

The Hirak, that the region has witness over the past years, was an opportunity for Arab women to prove through their participation along with the different spectrums of society, that digital media are alternative platforms for expression, publicizing their views, and calling for social and political change.

This background was the platform of our study which seek to investigate the digital sphere as an alternative spaces for expression for many subaltern groups in Arab societies, in particular women.
