Abstract EN

This research studies the impact of Corona epidemic on some of the jurisprudential rulings of ṣalāh (prayer).

It has been divided into an introduction and two parts.

The introduction deals with nature of the problem of the study, objectives of the study, questions of the study, limitations of the study, previous studies, and methodology of the study.

The first part focuses on the rulings of performing the daily prayers in the mosque during the Corona epidemic, while the second part deals with the rulings of perfuming them in one’s own house.

As for the research methodology, a combination of descriptive and analytical methods was used.

One of the more significant findings to emerge from this study is that the performance of the daily prayers at home rather than in the mosque is deemed permissible for the purpose of protecting the lives of people and preventing the spread of the Corona epidemic through gathering in mosques.

In addition, the permissibility of the prayer offered at home is founded upon public interest and the instructions of health organizations that serve to prevent the spread of the Corona epidemic.
