Abstract EN

This research deals with Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah’s comments on the books of Islamic jurisprudence and its principles.

Commenting has two meanings: an absolute appending of something to another, and commenting on a statement by either rejecting, confirming, weakening, or rectifying it via completing a deficiency or removing confusion from it- the one adopted in this research in tracing Ibn Taymiyyah’s comments on the books of jurisprudence and its principles.

The inductive and the descriptive analytical approaches were used in this research, which was divided into an introduction, a preface, and two sections.

The first section dealt with Ibn Taymiyyah's comments on the books of jurisprudence and its principles in terms of what contradicts the validity of the evidence, such as the false hadiths, the issues that opposed the correct evidence, and the cases in which the correct evidence is abandoned.

The second section focused on Ibn Taymiyyah's comments in terms of what contradicts the validity of inference with evidence, and the use of some of the words mentioned in the Qur’an and the Sunnah in contrast with their intended meanings, and disregarding inference from what the evidence indicates and proves .

The researcher confirmed the validity of all of these comments and supported them.
