The Emotional Intelligence helps the individual to understand and analyze the emotions of others to be able to achieve a great deal of adjustment with itself and with others perceived psychological flexibility being organized dynamically Mkonnena from a number of interacting elements with each other which elements of intangible, but manifestations and interpretations attached to human conduct and The current research aimed to identify the level of emotional intelligence and psychological resilience according to the variables of gender (males - females), and specialization (scientific - human), as well as knowing the relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological resilience among a sample of middle school students for the fourth year of the year.

The research sample has reached (200) male and female students from schools and secondary schools in Salah al-Din Governorate / Tikrit District.

The scale became the yen as the final houses (50), (54) paragraph has calculated the stability coefficient scale yen in a way re - testing and retail midterm and the researcher applying two tools: Emotional Intelligence and mental flexibility on a sample of students in the preparatory stage for the city of Tikrit, the center and specialization of scientific and literary reality (200) male and female students, after collecting the information and processing it statistically by using the T-Test for one sample.

The researcher reached the following results.

The middle school students are characterized by the level of emotional intelligence and psychological flexibility.

There is no statistically significant difference attributable to the variable of gender and specialization in the level of emotional intelligence, the ence of a statistically significant difference due to the variable of gender and specialization in the level of psychological resilience, and there is a strong relationship between emotional intelligence and psychological resilience, males do not differ from females in psychological resilience.
