Abstract AR
عملية التحول الديموغرافي كفيلة بتغيير الخصائص الديموغرافية لأي بلد، و يتبع هذا التحول آثار اقتصادية و اجتماعية، سواء كانت طويلة أو قصيرة الأجل.
يمر السودان الآن بالمرحلة الثانية من التحول الديمغرافي، لذلك كان لا بد من دراسة تأثير الانتقال الديموغرافي على النمو الاقتصادي في السودان.
استخدمت الدراسة سلاسل زمنية قصيرة من عام 1990 إلى عام 2019 بتطبيق نموذج الانحدار الذاتي للإبطاء الزمني الموزع (ARDL)، تم استخدام بيانات ثانوية من الجهاز المركزي للإحصاء بالسودان.
أظهرت نتائج التحليل تأثير التحول الديموغرافي على النمو الاقتصادي في السودان بشكل إيجابي على المدى الطويل و بشكل سلبي على المدى القصير.
المتغيرات الديموغرافية مثل (متوسط العمر المتوقع و معدل الزيادة الطبيعية) لها تأثير إيجابي كبير على النمو الاقتصادي، و يمكن أن تساعد مثل هذه الدراسات في تطوير السياسات الاقتصادية في السودان.
Abstract EN
The process of demographic transition changes the demographic characteristics of any country, this transitions have had economic and social implications, whether long or short-term.
Sudan is now in the second phase of demographic transition.
This paper aims to studies the impact of demographic transition on economic growth of Sudan.
The study used short time series from 1990 to 2019 and the data have collected from Central Bureau of Statistics (Sudan).
The Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model has been applied.
The study results showed a positively impact for the demographic transition on economic growth in Sudan in the long run and negatively in the short run.
