Abstract EN

This study deals with the most important administrative positions held by the Jews in the Mamluk state, despite the attempt of the mamluk sultans tried not to prevent the Jews from getting the administrative Jobs in their state throug the royal decrees which were often not occupied by the Jews who were able to assume some administrative functions in the Levant office; but in some cases the Jews completely ruled those offices, this annoyed the general population of Muslims who worked to expel the Jews so the Jews sought to Conversion to Islam in order to Preserve in order to preserve their status and jobs
