Abstract EN

Through this study, we will try to know the extent to which the tourism sector in Tunisia has been affected by the European sovereign debt crisis, by studying some statistics related to the number of foreign arrivals in addition to the revenues generated by the tourism sector before and after the crisis.

Through the study, it was concluded that the tourism sector in Tunisia was affected by the European sovereign debt crisis, by confirming the decline in the number of European tourist arrivals, as well as the decline in tourism sector revenues, during the period following the European sovereign debt crisis, thus confirming the validity of the hypothesis that European countries are considered a market An important tourist destination for the Arab Maghreb countries, especially Tunisia.
