Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the degree to which secondary school principals in public schools in the State of Kuwait practice ethical leadership from the teachers' point of view, following the descriptive approach.

To achieve this goal; the questionnaire was used as a tool for the study, and it was applied to a random sample (n = 702) of male and female secondary school teachers in the capital educational districts, Hawally, Farwaniya, and Jahra during the 2020/2021 academic year.

the study concluded with several results, the most important of which are: (A) that the degree to which department heads practice ethical leadership from the teachers' point of view was highly appreciated; (B) There were statistically significant differences for the viewpoint of the study sample about the practice of moral leadership by secondary school principals in public schools in the State of Kuwait from the teachers' point of view due to the variables: gender, and experience.

While there were no statistically significant differences due to the educational region variable.

the study made a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: (A) conducting more studies on ethical leadership in general; (B) Establishment of a specialized center for training and performance assessment, in which school principals in the educational stages in general and leaders are trained to develop their ethical leadership practices with continuous examination to assess the degree of their commitment to ethical leadership behaviors; (C) The link between the theoretical side and the practical application of the practice.
