Abstract EN

This study aimed to uncover the role of Arabic language teachers in reducing school dropout for high school students in Farwaniya Governorate, Kuwait, from their point of view.

The study was randomized, and their number reached (100).

The researcher also used the analytical descriptive method as it is the most appropriate in describing and analyzing the phenomenon.

The results found that the role of Arabic language teachers in reducing the phenomenon of school dropout among their students was of a moderate degree, and the study recommended the need to pay special attention to cases of frequent enteeism and to know its causes and treatment, to work on linking students with frequent ences to school activities such as the School System Committee, or the school radio, organizing Courses for Arabic language teachers in the field of educational and psychological counseling, so that they have the ability to deal with students' needs and problems, conduct more studies on the phenomenon of school dropout, work to find incentives for Arabic language teachers in schools where the dropout rate is lower than other schools, and honor their teachers.
