These disciplinesare indispensable for those who wantto contribute to understanding the Qur'anwith a view to solving insuperable matters.

Hence, the renewing in exegesis is not dissimilarto the meaning of renewal in religionwith its pillars, and it follows the lawsof fundamentalist approaches that extendto the heritage of the Ummah.
