The journey of Abi Al-Hassan Ali Al-Qalasadi is one of the most important scientific journeys in Andalusia, the Hejaz, as it came later than its predecessors, as it was in the ninth century AH / fifteenth century AD.

It can be noted that Al-Qalasadi began his journey by mentioning his Sheikhs in the city of Basta in Andalusia, then he described the city, and from the Andalusian enemy he moved towards the countries of the Maghreb.

Hence, Tlemcen was the first metropolis he settled in due to its scholarly position at the time, and in which he settled for a period of time to learn science from its Sheikhs.Al-Qalqsadi continued his journey in the central Maghreb, during which he visited Oran and other cities, after which he made his way to the countries of the East, in order to acquire various sciences and visit the holy spots in Makkah and Madinah.

It is evident that the Qalqasadi took advantage of many opportunities during his journey in order to communicate and learn from the Sheikhs and scholars in the countries he visited.

During his return, he was had accumulated various sciences and obtained many licenses.

The Qalasadi finally settled in Tlemcen and taught the science groups that were held there.
