This article aims at revealing the various forms of the connector of substitution and its role in the Prophetic text in achieving consistency between its components, coherence in its structure and cohesion in its significance, especially at the grammatical and lexical level within the text.

This study sheds light on the Hadith of “Fawat Assalat” as a model to reveal the presence of this connector and its role in the cohesion of the structure of the Hadith and the coherence of its meaning.
