التعددية اللغوية في الجزائر واقع يتألف من ثلاثة مجالات متميزة : المجال الناطق بالعربية الذي يشمل اللغة الأم، أو "الدارجة" بتنوعاتها الإقليمية، و "الفسحة، اللغة الوطنية، اللغة الرسمية للتعليم والتواصل السياسي و الإعلامي.
كما اكتسب المجال الناطق باللغة البربرية، المكون من الأمازيغية و متغيراتها الإقليمية العديدة (القبائلي، الشاوي، المزابيت، الشنوي، تاهغارت، تاجارجرنت) اعترافا رسميا بعد دسترتها في عام 2016.
و قد ساهم المجال اللغوي للغات الأجنبية بتطور و تدويل الدراسات الجامعية في ظل العولمة الاقتصادية برسم المشهد اللغوي الجامعي الجزائري.
أما اللغة الفرنسية، و هي لغة أجنبية 1، فعرفت اضطرابات و تقلبات تحت تأثير عوامل سياسية و أيديولوجية و اجتماعية و اقتصادية و ثقافية، المقابلة لتطور المجتمع و الرغبة المؤسساتية لإعطاء مرئية خارجية للجامعة الجزائرية في التصنيف العالمي بواسطة اللغة الإنجليزية.
الهدف من هذا المقال المدعوم بالأرقام، هو إظهار مكانة هاتين اللغتين الأجنبيتين في سياق الجامعة الحالي.
Abstract EN
Plurilingualism in Algeria is a reality made up of three distinct spheres: the Arabic-speaking sphere including the mother tongue, derija or "maghribi" with its regional variations and "fus'ha", classical Arabic, the national official language of education, political and media communication.
The Berber-speaking sphere, formed of Tamazight and its variants (Kabyle, Chaoui, Mozabite, Chenoui, Tahaggart, Tagargrent) which has acquired official recognition following its constitutionalisation in 2016.
The sphere of foreign languages is evolving due to the economic globalization are redrawing the Algerian university linguistic landscape.
The status of French is experiencing endogenous and exogenous disturbances and fluctuates under the effect of various factors.
English language can help give the visibility essential to progress in international rankings.
This article aims to show the position of these two foreign languages in the current university context.

Le plurilinguisme en Algérie est une réalité composée de trois sphères distinctes: la sphère arabophone comprenant la langue maternelle, derija ou « maghribi » avec ses déclinaisons régionales et la «fus'ha», l'arabe classique, langue nationale, officielle, d'enseignement et de communication politique et médiatique.
La sphère berbérophone, formée de tamazight aux nombreuses variantes régionales (kabyle, chaoui, mozabite, chenoui, tahaggart, tagargrent) a été constitutionalisée en 2016.
La sphère des langues étrangères évolue sous l'effet de la globalisation économique et redessine le paysage linguistique universitaire.
Le statut du français connait des turbulences endogènes et exogènes et fluctue sous l'effet de différents facteurs.
L'anglais peut aider à donner la visibilité indispensable pour progresser dans les rankings internationaux.
L'enjeu de cet article est de montrer la place de ces deux langues étrangères dans le contexte universitaire actuel.
