Abstract EN

This research highlights the significance of the possible Quranic meanings in al-Sharif al-Murtada .it attempts to pin point the various cues that lead to the possible meaning like the prevalence of possible aspects of meaning, changing the possible aspect of meaning from one to the other , the preference of one aspect of meaning , in addition to defining the term aspect of meaning.

the study focuses on preference cues which direct the attention to that particular possible meaning used by al-Murtada and to the examples he cited in this regard.

the research concludes that the possibility of particular meaning in al-Murtada does not mean the denial of other aspects of meanings to a certain expression.

rather , it means that particular meaning is stronger depending on the presumptive evidence and the context of situation.al-Murtada does not exclude other aspects of meanings given by other Sholars , but he weakens them accounting for evidence, reasoning and logic.
