Abstract EN

This study aimed to recognize the impact of organizational work stress on the job performance of the Algerian worker, the study sample consisted of (230) workers in healthy ceramic company in El-Milia, wilaya of Jijel.

Which they were been selected as a simple random method.

And to achieve the purposes of this study, researcher designed two questionnaires, the first to measure the organizational work stress as proposed by (Saka, 2009), and the second to measure job performance as proposed by (Altwaijri, 1988).

Descriptive method has been used.The statistical package for the social sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze and test the hypotheses.

The researcher used a proper statistical methods to achieve study purposes, such as simple and multiple regression.

The main conclusions of the study were: Results of the study showed the existence of the effect of a statistical significance between the organizational work stress and the job performance.

Also, the results showed the effect of a statistical significance for: (surcharge of quantitative and qualitative role, role ambiguity, job performance evaluation, and the physical environment work), as the results signified an inexistence of the effect of a statistical significance for: (role conflict, no participation in decision-making and professional development).

The results of the study have also shown that there were no differences of statistical significance in job performance which can be attributed to sex, marital status, whereas they had indicated the existence of differences of statistical significance in job performance can be attributed to age, education level, and seniority at work.

In light of these results the study recommended a series of practical and theoretical recommendations.
