Abstract EN

This study includes the detection of seven important phenolic compound, and the concentration of each component for each species of the genus for the tribe Agrostideae have been identified which showed a case of variation and differentiation between species under study regarding concentrations of selected phenolic compounds.

The results of the present study revealed that these phenolic compound contribute in the taxonomic isolation among species and enhance the taxonomic importance of this study as a key classification at the level of genera and species for the tribe Agrostideae.

Based on the high concentration of phenolic compound remained isolated two species Ca.

pseudophragmites and Al.

myosuroides other species while the rest of the species varied among low concentration of phenolic compounds .
