The issue of women’s rights is an important issue and an integral part of basic human rights.
Women’s rights have received great attention at both international and internal levels.
The importance of this concern may be due to the vulnerability of women in various situations of exploitation, such as sexual exploitation, forced labor and enslavement.
The phenomena that have passed through history, from ancient times until the Middle Ages and to our present day.
It turned into a phenomenon that crosses the borders of countries and is practiced by international criminal organizations and networks.
Sexual exploitation is the most important form of human trafficking and the most dangerous.
Trafficking in women, according to international reports, is one of the most important types of illicit trade worldwide.
In 1979, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Elimination of all forms of Discrimination against women.
In 2000, it adopted the Protocol to prevent, suppress and punish trafficking in persons, especially women and children (Palermo Protocol), supplementing the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime, Including sexual exploitation.
The aim of this study is to ascertain the compatibility of the U.A.E law with international law in protecting women against trafficking and sexual exploitation.
