Abstract EN

Stock market is considered the best connecting link between saving and investment innovations.

This is a matter of interest to many, notably in relation to the stability of stock markets, improving its performance, increasing transactions and resulting in a rise in the profitability rates.

The control practiced over stock market brokers and stock holders positively results in the growth of the stock market in case of good control practices.

This is because control is a tool for increasing the efficiency and performance of the stock market and empowering the role of the concerned companies, which, in turn, enables the stock market to contribute more to the wheel of the economic growth.

However, the Stock Market Authority may not be able to practice its controlling role over the registered corporations in the light of the technological changes and the wide spread of online financial deals and transactions which led to an increase in the manipulation rate in such operations within the stock market.

This is added to the noncompliance of some legal clauses related to the purpose of market control, which were legislated for fulfilling such purpose.

Therefore, we are sought to find new control tools and strategies through which the Stock Market Authority could control the stock market in the light of the ongoing revolution in technological and communication tools.

We also sought to find new means of development for the control tools being used by the Authority in Egypt, in comparison with what has been achieved and utilized in the United Arab Emirates.
