Abstract EN

The researcher addresses the idea of unifying the authority of the Shariah bodies and implementing them in Islamic banking institutions, which plays an important role in attesting to the seriousness of these institutions in providing products that are compatible with Islamic law.

The study discussed the concept of unifying the terms of reference and the concept of legitimate bodies and their importance, in addition to exploring the meaning of Islamic banking finance institutions.

It also drew on their most important characteristics and advantages as opposed to other usurious institutions.

The researcher equally showed the justifications for unifying the terms of reference and implementing them from the legal and economic point of view, while addressing the trends of Islamic banking experts on the unification of the reference among the proponents and opponents.

By highlighting several international agencies that helped unify the legitimate reference in Islamic banking finance institutions, at the end, the researcher reached the most important results.

These results included the legitimate reference as the task of the legitimate advisors in Islamic banking finance institutions, and the fact that there are several international bodies which help in unifying and implementing Sharia reference in Islamic banking finance institutions.
