This research revolves around the fundamental rules related to general and specific prohibitions and their impact on jurisprudence.

The researcher traced these rules and stated the meaning of each one of them, in addition to explaining their evidence and referring to the scholars who advocate them and those who disagree about them.

He also discussed the opinions of scholars and weighed between them.

This is added to mentioning the jurisprudential effect of each rule, the argument of scholars on the related branch of Islamic jurisprudence, and the most correct opinion among them.

The researcher found that knowing general and specific jurisprudential rules enables scholars to issue Islamic rulings on the branches of jurisprudence related to them, regardless of their agreement or disagreement with the rule.

He also found that setting these rules makes it easier for the scholar to judge the branches of jurisprudence that are presented to him and that specific prohibition is more powerful than general prohibition, because it is far less probable.
