Abstract EN

This study aimed at investigation the semantic transformation resulting from the elements of emphatic transformation in light of the qur'anic context of contemporary linguistics in the complements of predicate relationships.

The researcher attempted to integrate between the holo-synthetic domain as well as the semantic domain in studying the methods of emphasis.

This study employed the analytical descriptive approach based on observing the material from its main resource "the holy Quran".

Then it aimed at classifying the elements of emphatic transformations and analyzing them.

This study consisted of two main axis the first axis addressed the entrance of emphatic transformation theory as well as an illustration for some pillars upon which it is based.

It also clarified the concept of emphasis in language.

The second axis, the applied side of the research, addressed the emphasis, expressions related to the predicate complementary elements; these are extra elements to the predicate and subject predicate within the predicate structure with the following results: The extra elements represent emphatic transformational elements if they are related to a pre-mentioned meaning within the context, in the contrary if its introduction referred to a new meaning, then the words aren’t emphasized but rather established.

the researcher recommends about paying more attention in the Quranic context with regard to studying its semantic holo-senthtic approach according to these transformational rules.
