Abstract EN

One of the objectives of this paper was to describe the local tectonic reflection on the lineament and the relationship between these lineaments with the local and/or regional tectonic.

the proposed approach is demonstrated using data for three selected areas provided in the study by three authors after compared this data with the satellite imagery.

in order to draw the rose diagram and assess the results, three steps has been done, the first step was digitizing manually for the lineaments under GIS environment in polyline shap, the second step was completed the statistical process after that the rose diagram was drawn for the selected areas.

the result of study indicate that there are a very clear local tectonic reflection on the lineament, also this study showed that the regional tectonic potential were dominated in the lineaments direction for the selected areas.
