أثر استراتيجية الفورمات (4MAT)‎ نموذج مكارثي في تحصيل طلبة الصف العاشر في مبحث التاريخ و احتفاظهم بالمادة التعليمية

Abstract EN

The study aimed to find out the effect of the)4MAT(strategy (McCarthy model) on the achievement of tenth grade students in History and their retention of the educational material.

To achieve the objectives of the study; it was applied on two control and experimental groups.Using an achievement test prepared for this purpose, Students ‟immediate and delayed achievement was measured.

Mean and covariance were calculated.

Results showed that the mean of (4MAT) form group was higher than the mean of the group that studied by the usual method, as well as their retention of the educational material.

The study included a set of recommendations, the most important of which were: including (4MAT) strategy applications when formulating curricula, training teachers on the (4MAT) strategy, conducting further researches and applying this strategy to other levels and various subjects, and encouraging teachers to use the 4MAT strategy for its educational impact on achievement and retention.
