Abstract EN

This paper attempts to elucidate some features of what is known as the crisis of “educational institutions”, especially the official ones, which has been experienced by many societies.

This crisis is approached as consequence of the rapid pace and intensity of globalization, at its different levels and forms.

To reach our goal, we have raised several questions on a marginal phenomenon (it can be said that it is rather a marginalised one) in the university space which is graffiti.

The practice of graffiti is the students’ practice whose indicators are illustrated by the scattered inscriptions on the various graffiti supports in university space, including: walls, columns, tables, desks.

The results of a study conducted at the University of Tlemcen indicate that this practice reflects the dysfunctional aspects of educational institutions,- at the level of policies, programmes and methods adopted, expressed by the student (Actor) in a graphic way.
