Abstract EN
Banu Sakhr is one of the tribes that currently resides in the Balqa area in Jordan.
Most of the sources that researching Arab genealogy agreed that the roots of this tribe refer to the Judham tribe of Kahlan from Qahtan, a Yemeni tribe.
Other sources attributed that Bani Sakhr refer to the Tay tribe, historical references also mention many of the bellies that descend from the Bani Sakhr tribe which were mentioned, in addition to their residence area.
The research dealt with this tribe in the period when Egypt and the Bilad al-Sham were under the Mamluks rule, It began with an introduction, followed by five aspects surrounding the comprehensiveness of the subject of the study.
The first aspect came to talk about the origins of Bani Sakhr while the second side dealt with the geographical area of the tribe, while the third mentioned the historical events of Bani Sakhr which coincided with the study period, In the fourth and fifth aspects, the research talked about the tribe's resources, and the personalities that emerged in it, as reported by the sources.
