The reason for choosing the topic (constitutional procedures for amending the constitution, a comparative study) stemmed from the interest in highlighting the various mechanisms and procedures in amending the constitutions of countries to benefit from them in amending our constitution in the future and to overcome the loopholes that obstructed its hasty drafting, and to find a solution to the problem of deviation in amending the constitution, through Judicial oversight on amending the constitution, and to clarify these procedures, a number of constitutions of Arab and Western countries were addressed, as well as reliance on a number of judicial decisions issued by higher courts such as the US Supreme Court and the French Constitutional Council
