Abstract EN

The research aimed to determine the most important reasons behind the phenomenon of job burnout among workers.

The research relied on the deductive descriptive approach.

The questionnaires were used in collecting data on a sample of workers in the Emirate of Asir region size of 384, and by using correlation analysis, regression analysis, and One-way Anova analysis, Data analysis indicates that role ambiguity and over-role have a positive significant effect on job burnout with its three dimensions (emotional exhaustion, Depersonalization , and Reduced personal accomplishment).

While role conflict had a positive significant effect on both the dimension of emotional exhaustion and the dimension of Reduced personal accomplishment, and it was not proven that it had a significant effect on the dimension of Depersonalization.

The results of the data analysis also showed that there are no statistically significant differences between the feeling of the research sample on burnout among employees in the Emirate of Asir region due to personal and functional variables (age, gender, educational level, experience).

The recommendations of the research summarized that those responsible for human resources management in the emirate must take into account the accuracy in the job description of employees in the emirate by clearly identifying the authority, responsibility, duties and unity of command to reduce the ambiguity of the role they have because of its impact on the feeling of job burnout.
