Abstract EN

This study aimed to uncover the relationship of psychological flow to aesthetic 75 taste of the arts for children in Amman, and to know the effect of age, gender and the interaction between them on flow and taste of children aged (5-6) and (10-11).

The sample reached (315) children who were selected from Kindergarten and schools in Wadi Al-seer.

To achieve the purpose of the study, two scales were designed, the validity and reliability of them were ensured before the application, by using means, analysis of variance, Person correlation coefficient and regression analysis, the following results were concluded: - The degrees of Psychological flow and aesthetic taste average.

- No statistically significant differences were found in total degree of flow due to gender, but there were significant differences in total degree of flow due to age for eldest (10-11).

- No statistically significant differences were found in total degree of taste due to gender, age and the interaction between them.

- There was positive relationship between psychological flow and aesthetic taste for the children.

- Psychological flow predicted aesthetic taste with percentage of (0.435).
