Abstract EN

This study identifies obstacles and attitudes of using electronic exams, and formulates a proposed vision for applying these exams at al-Aqsa university of Gaza.

the researcher followed the descriptive research method, and chose a random sample from education college consisted of (70) lecturer, and (632) students.

he adopted two main tools: a questionnaire to identify the obstacles of applying e-exams, and a measurement of the attitude towards using them.

the study revealed that most obstacles were administrative relating to university, which came first with a percentage of (76.53%), while the technical and material obstacles came second with a percentage of (75.07%).

obstacles related to human side followed them in the third place with a percentage of (67.29%).

the results showed also that attitude towards using e- exams among the lecturers of education college of al-Aqsa university was positive and responsive with a percentage of (85.03%).

in addition, using e-exams among students was positive with above average percentage of (75.4%), and attitude towards taking e- exams among students was positive with above average percentage of (74.4%).there were no statistically significant differences towards using and taking e- exams referring to gender variable; on the other hand, there were statistically significant differences towards using and taking these exams referring to level variable among the students of education college, which came in favor of second, third and fourth level students.

based on the above-mentioned results, the researcher formulated a proposed vision for applying e- exams.

the most important axes of which: establishing technological infrastructure appropriate for applying e- exams with all necessary tools including providing required computer labs sufficient for students' numbers, suggested curricula, and training a qualified cadre (lecturers, students, engineers, technical support, and lab supervisors).
