The issue of Revamping in the Principles of Islamic jurisprudence has become one of the main concerns of the Islamic thought leaders in the modern era, leading to a divergence in their attitudes and views on the controlled revamping and another that attempts to get rid of these controls in whole or in part, so much so that it can be called a Dispelling.

This had an impact on the principles of jurisprudence, especially with the absence of clarification on the boundary between what is considered revamping and what is considered Dispelling.

Therefore, this research sought to answer the debate over the boundary between Revamping and Dispelling in the Principles of Islamic jurisprudence.

This research aims to resolve any ambiguities related to Revamping and Dispelling in the Principles of Islamic jurisprudence, indicate the reasons for Revamping and its controls, clarify the criteria, risks and causes of Dispelling, and the boundary between it and Revamping, and propose possible solutions to address Dispelling, through extrapolating what could be found about the research topic and deducing it from its assumptions and analyzing it in order to use it in addressing the research problem.

The research concluded a number of results and recommendations, perhaps the most importantly; that there are controls and boundaries for revamping that should be adhered to by those who want to go into the field of the Principles of Islamic jurisprudence so that their work does not deviate into Dispelling.

One of the most important features of Dispelling is that the work targeted at making a fundamental change in the principles of jurisprudence, and the methodology of work is far from the considered fundamentalist research methodologies, in addition to its change to the constants, as well as carrying out work through non-specialists.

Among the most important recommendations is the need to address Dispelling by all possible means, including the controlled community work of specialists.
