Abstract EN

The current research aims to present a research point of view on the extent of investors' appetite for establishing and joining public shareholding companies in Jordan and the volume of companies that have been registered during the last ten years.

Researchers used the descriptive and analytical approach by collecting legal texts, data and information, analyzing and discussing them.

Researchers concluded that there has been a noticeable decline of taking action for registering these companies during the last decade, and decreased in its numbers in addition to the decline in the stock trading movement in the financial market.

Perhaps one of the reasons that led to this was the successive financial crises that the world was exposed to, in addition to the various political and economic conflicts, especially those that the Arab region be affected, in addition to the lack of investor conviction in this type of companies due to weak of returns and profits that stocks reap for them, in addition to some shareholders dominance on companies administration, and other obstacles that weakened the chances of registering this type of company, which is one of the most important pillars of the national economy to provide liquidity.

In the conclusion of this research, researchers presented in the conclusion some suggested solutions to contribute in solving registration declining problem of public shareholding companies in Jordan.
