It is recognized that judges are the trustees for the protection of rights and freedoms and the application of laws on the basis of which justice emerges among members of society.

Their actions and conduct should therefore be above suspicion and at the level of the depository.

Otherwise, the judge will be subject to criminal responsibility based on the Jordanian law once he has committed punishing offense.

In return, there are acts that might be made by judge which does not take place because of the absence of a text that criminalizes them and punish them, such as denial of justice, treachery, unlawful arrest and judicial error.

Serious fraud, judicial fraud, and judicial fraud.

This leads us to the issue of the selection of judges and that no person should be appointed unless he has qualities of competence, integrity, honesty, independence, integrity and honor.

The fact that a single judge commits any suspicious or disgraceful behavior may infringe upon the full reputation of the judiciary.
