Abstract EN

Human motives and psychological emotions are correlated with human behavior, proving to be among the most studied and important topics in human psychology.

The results of these studies were implemented in different sectors including: medicine, parenting, education, media, manufacturing, and commerce.

However, exploitation of human behavior in these areas led to the general corruption of humans’ fitrah (human’s innate disposition), dignity, honor, freedom, and purpose, throwing the world into chaos.

Because of the world’s current state, the question arises: how do motives and emotions relate to the appropriate understanding of Islamic Jurisprudence? Within this research, I introduced the proper understanding of motives and psychological emotions, including their qualities and psychological significance.

Subsequently, I studied these topics within the Islamic context, considering its relation to human behavior.

Regarding motives and emotions, I proposed a preliminary definition and further elaborated based on the research related to early sources and scholarship.

Realistic examples applying this definition were provided to substantiate its validity.

The study concluded with numerous examples of this relational understanding of motives and emotions in Islamic Jurisprudence.

Implementation of Islamic rulings demonstrates its situational discernment to human motives and emotions in a beneficial and productive manner to society at large
