The study deals with an important issue of emerging issues within the Islamic shari'a provision in foods, where it deals with the statement of the fact of "use of Gelatin from haram source as a food additive".

In terms of definition, source, production and use.

It also deals with the statement of the legitimate ruling to use Gelatin from Haram source.

And In order to stand up on the judgment, we discussed the fact of Haram Gelatin transformation "Istihala" From a scientific perspective, and from an Islamic legitimate perspective.

The study concluded to choose the opinion who said that staying Gelatin on the origin of the prohibition "Tahreem".

Because of prove that Gelatin transformation "Istihala" hypothesis is a hypothesis that is acceptable to debate.

Given that change in Gelatin composition is partial change not holistic.

As well as the possibility of disclosing its prohibited source.

Which makes the opinion of Gelatin transformation uncertain, and this change is unable transfer judgment from Haram to Halal.

Which keeps it on the origin of the prohibition.
