The most important of these alternatives is the settlement of juvenile disputes, which are more important when applied to juveniles to prevent them from being subjected to traditional procedures and to provide some degree of protection, guarantees and care in order to rehabilitate and correct them away from being placed in penal institutions.

The researcher reviewed the system of settling juvenile disputes as an alternative to criminal prosecution, and its legal nature distinct from the other legal procedures that protect them.

The researcher then discussed the Jordanian legislator's plan and the extent of protection and guarantees compared to other legislations such as Palestinian legislation through a statement of shortcomings and shortcomings.
