The adoption of LMD in higher education required several changes in the educational environment especially with regard to the university teacher who is considered as the guide and monitor of the teaching process.
this study tries to define basic pedagogical practices adopted by the teachers in library science and their relevance in developing the scientific competences of their graduates and enabling them to work effectively in the information and communication age.

Le recours au système LMD a bouleversé les habitudes, en provoquant plusieurs changements dans l’enseignement supérieur notamment pour l’enseignant universitaire considéré comme moteur du processus pédagogique.
plusieurs rôles et de nouvelles missions lui ont été ainsi confiés à l’instar de l’accompagnement pédagogique personnalisé et l’évaluation continue de l’étudiant.
cette étude met en lumière les pratiques pédagogiques adoptées par l’enseignant de la bibliothéconomie et leur impact sur le développement des compétences scientifiques des étudiants afin de les préparer aux nouveaux défis attendus.
