يستعرض هذا التقرير خلاصة الآراء والأفكار التي تداولها الباحثون والخبراء في جلسات مؤتمر بحثي نظَّمه مركز الجزيرة للدراسات ومركز دراسات الخليج التابع لجامعة قطر، يومي 19 و20 يناير/كانون الثاني 2020، عن معضلة الأمن في منطقة الخليج، وقد سعوا للإجابة عن الأسئلة التالية: ما المقصود بالأمن الخليجي المشترك؟ ولماذا فشلت دول الخليج في تحقيقه؟ وما تداعيات ذلك؟ وكيف يمكن تجاوز التحديات التي تعترضه؟
Abstract EN
This report summarises the opinions and ideas exchanged by researchers and experts at a conference organised by Al Jazeera Centre for Studies and the Gulf Studies Center at Qatar University on 19 and 20 January 2020.
Considering security in the Gulf region, conference participants attempted to answer the following questions: What is meant by common Gulf security? Why have Gulf States failed to achieve it and what are the consequences? And how can the challenges facing it be overcome?
